Sembler Closes on Land for new Publix-Anchored Center: Amberly Place

The Sembler Company closed on the purchase of 22 acres in Cary, North Carolina where plans to construct a new Publix-anchored neighborhood shopping center, Amberly Place, begin soon. The land, purchased from Grover and Peggy Lewter in late June, is located at the Northwest corner of Greenlevel Church Road and Carpenter Fire Station Road.

The 72,000 square foot shopping center will be known as Amberly Place and will feature a pedestrian-oriented design, anchored by a Publix Supermarket and accompanied by a mix of retailers and restaurants. Amberly Place will augment Sembler’s growing footprint in North Carolina where the company currently owns and manages grocery-anchored centers in
Raleigh and Charlotte.

“The shopping center market in this region is very healthy right now, and poised for growth,” said Josh Beyer, Sembler’s Senior Vice President of Development. “We look forward to developing this project for the Cary community and continue to seek other opportunities in the area.”
