Sembler Appoints New Director of People & Culture

The Sembler Company welcomes Laurie Cable to the newly appointed position of Director of People and Culture.

Sembler has been a St. Petersburg-based company for over fifty years, developing and operating shopping centers across the Southeastern United States and Puerto Rico. Cable will oversee Sembler’s local workforce along with staff in Atlanta, Raleigh and Puerto Rico.

Cable has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources & Operations. Prior to joining Sembler, she worked as the HR Manager for Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp- Contract Manufacturer of Cosmetics & Personal Care Items in Coppell, Texas.

When describing the ‘culture’ aspect of her new position, Cable says, “Its about sustaining the Sembler tradition of volunteerism in the community, while creating a stimulating & positive work environment that helps employees grow and accomplish their goals.”

“Our business starts with our people. We’re excited to have Laurie on board to ensure everyone at Sembler has the resources they need to succeed in all aspects of their lives,” says Sembler CEO Ron Wheeler.

A graduate of Florida Southern College, Cable received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
