Sembler Introduces Publix-Anchored Amberly Place

The Sembler Company recently announced that Publix will anchor Amberly Place, a new neighborhood shopping center to be developed on 22 acres at the northwest corner of Carpenter Fire Station Rd. and Green Level Church Rd. in Cary, North Carolina. “Cary is an impressive community that’s growing rapidly. Our plan will provide residents with inviting amenities – a premier grocery store, an exciting blend of restaurants and shops – all in an attractive shopping center that integrates the natural beauty and character of the area,” said Josh Beyer, Senior Vice President of Development for Sembler. “Wide, walkable sidewalks… gathering spaces… outdoor dining… Amberly Place will enhance the lifestyle of the community.”

The non-traditional, pedestrian-oriented shopping center will comprise up to 110,000 square feet of commercial space. Publix will occupy more than 49,000 square feet of that, with a store that is expected to carry an expanded organic line and other high-end features, Beyer said. Construction on Amberly Place is expected to begin first quarter 2017.
