Josh Beyer, P.E. - Sr. VP Development
Josh Beyer is Senior Vice President of Development for Sembler. Beyer is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Sembler's shopping center development activities. Beyer was responsible among others for the development of Sembler's Colony Plaza (The Villages, Florida), Park Street Retail Center (St. Petersburg, Florida), Crosscreek Village (St. Cloud, Florida), the redevelopment of Nokomis Village and Park 66, and more than fifty single tenant build-to-suit projects from Florida to New York along with many active pipeline retail projects.
Before joining Sembler in 2002, Beyer served as a Project Manager/Engineer for EMK Consultants of Florida, Inc. (a Tampa based engineering firm), where he was responsible for the project design, permitting, construction inspection, and client relationship for many retail, office, residential, and industrial projects.
Prior to EMK Consultants of Florida, Beyer served as Project Manager/Engineer for Greenville, South Carolina’s Freeland & Kauffman, Inc., where he managed the design, construction and development of several retail shopping centers developed and completed in the Southeast and Mid Atlantic regions.
Beyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida. Josh is a member of the I.C.S.C., a past member (2009-2014) of the Board of Directors for Goodwill-Suncoast and a Chairman of the Board of Directors for Foundation for Dreams, Inc.
