Josh Beyer, P.E. - Sr. VP Development / Florida, Gulf Coast , and Southeast Market Leader
Josh Beyer is Senior Vice President of Development for Sembler. Beyer is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Florida and Georgia Development Department. In particular focus to retail shopping center development in Florida and Puerto Rico, Beyer was responsible among others for the development of Sembler's Colony Plaza (The Villages, Florida), Park Street Retail Center (St. Petersburg, Florida), Cross Creek Village (St. Cloud, Florida), more than fifty single tenant build-to-suit projects from Florida to New York along with many active pipeline retail projects.
Before joining Sembler in 2002, Beyer served as a Project Manager/Engineer for EMK Consultants of Florida, Inc. (a Tampa based engineering firm), where he was responsible for the project design, permitting, construction inspection, and client relationship for many retail, office, residential, and industrial projects.
Prior to EMK Consultants of Florida, Beyer served as Project Manager/Engineer for Greenville, South Carolina’s Freeland & Kauffman, Inc., where he managed the design, construction and development of several retail shopping centers developed and completed in the Southeast and Mid Atlantic regions.
Beyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida. Josh is a member of the I.C.S.C., a member of the Board of Directors for Goodwill-Suncoast and a member of the Board of Directors for Foundation for Dreams, Inc.
